Oil-free EltaMD UV Clear helps calm and protect sensitive skin types prone to breakouts, rosacea, and discoloration.
It contains niacinamide (vitamin B3), hyaluronic acid, and lactic acid, ingredients that promote the appearance of healthy-looking skin. Very lightweight and silky, it may be worn with makeup or alone. Choose from tinted and untinted formulas for use every day.
Active Ingredients: zinc oxide 9.0%, octinoxate 7.5%.
Inactive Ingredients: purified water, cyclomethicone, niacinamide, octyldodecyl neopentanoate, hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, polyisobutene, peg-7 trimethylolpropane coconut ether, sodium hyaluronate, tocopheryl acetate, lactic acid, oleth-3 phosphate, phenoxyethanol, butylene glycol, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, triethoxycaprylylsilane.
Apply liberally to face and neck 15 minutes before sun exposure. Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Reapply at least every 2 hours.
I absolutely love this product and have been using it for years. The only reason I deducted a star is because is becoming astronomical and you don’t get that much product. At some point, I will likely need to find a new SPF.
I have sensitive skin that burns easily. I can't keep track of how many mineral sunscreens I have wasted time and money on, only to be disappointed. The EltaMD UV Clear sunscreen has blown me away. It applies easily and sets quickly. I don't feel like I'm wearing a tacky, heavy mask. It doesn't pill, I can wear it under makeup and it feels so light. I also love that it has a higher SPF than the usual 30 SPF. As a very pale woman, I need a strong SPF. It's my holy grail of sunscreens. I removed one star because of the price for the amount in the bottle.
