Being aware of the spectrum of interacting nutrients found in fresh plants, the pharmacist Walther Schoenenberger developed a pressing method which extracts the full spectrum of active ingredients in a biologically available form – the plant juice. Therefore, Salus fresh plant juices are ideal to help maintain the natural processes of the body and to promote well-being. Today, the traditional organic cultivation procedures are constantly being controlled to the new EU standards. In addition, the SALUS juices are submitted to the stringent quality standards of modern pharmaceutical science to ensure quality and purity at all times. After over 90 years of research and production, Salus scientists know how to get the best out of working in harmony with nature; they know when the content of active ingredients is at its highest; and they know how to quickly and efficiently process their crops so that a finished product of outstanding quality and purity is consistently produced within 2 – 3 hours of harvesting.
Medicinal ingredients: Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) root pressed juice, from organic cultivation, 5 mL. Non-medicinal ingredients: None.
Shake bottle well before use. Adults: ¼ measuring cap (5 mL) 1-2 times daily, or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take a single dose (¼ measuring cap/5 mL) 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime. Take an earlier dose (¼ measuring cap/5 mL) a couple of hours prior to bedtime if necessary. Do not take more than ½ measuring capful/10 mL per day. A measuring cap is provided. Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia). Consumption with alcohol, other medications, or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended."
